Terms of service
Last updated 11 September 2026
By using askdonut.ai you agree to these terms. They are short because the site is simple.
What this is
AskDonut is a comedy chatbot in the voice of a fictional, opinionated show cat. Everything she says is generated for entertainment. It is satire and fan work. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the author or publishers of the books that inspired the character, and all of her lines are original to this site. By asking her something you allow that question and her answer to be quoted publicly, anonymously, as described in the privacy notice.
No advice, no reliance
Nothing she says is medical, legal, financial, safety, or any other kind of advice, and none of it should be relied on for any decision. She will refuse to help on purpose, and when she appears to help she is joking. If you need real help, ask a real professional.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the site to harass, threaten, or target anyone, or to generate material that is illegal where you are.
- Do not attempt to overload the site, probe it, or automate requests to it. She has a limit, and past it she stops answering and hands you to a dinosaur.
- Do not enter information about other people, or anything you would not want stored.
Content
Her replies are generated by software and may be wrong, absurd, or rude on purpose. The site's operator does not endorse any statement she makes. If a reply crosses a line, rate it with the spaniel button and say why; those reports are read.
By sending a message or a rating you allow the site to store it and to use it to improve her answers, as described in the privacy policy. You keep whatever rights you have in what you write.
Availability
The site runs on a single privately operated machine and may be slow, down, or gone at any time, with no notice. There is no guarantee of any kind, including that it will be funny.
Liability
The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything she says. Some places do not allow such limits, in which case the operator's liability is limited as far as that law permits.
Changes
These terms may change; the date at the top will change with them. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
